Shipping Policy

Ordering an item from Business Horizons? We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Shipping costs for orders from Business Horizons depend upon the methods you choose. Please also note that the shipping rates for all items we sell are weight-based. We do not charge any handling or packing charges and only the net amount required for shipping is charged.

Customs/Import Duties

On International orders, customs and import duties may be applied once the shipment reaches its destination. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient of the order and will vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

Most orders received and found to be in order, are shipped within 24 hours. However, Business Horizons and its shipping partners cannot influence local delivery practices. The time it takes to get your order from your local post office or customs department to your physical address can vary widely from country to country. Delivery may be delayed by customs or local postal authorities.

Business Horizons, insures items against damage or theft during transit when shipped via courier anywhere in the world. We cannot insure postal service shipments against damage or theft.

Returns Policy and Warranties

In case of receiving damaged books, just return the same, and we will replace it at no extra cost to you - no questions asked. Please note that we are unable to exchange any items.

For booksellers the return period is six months from the invoice date and for all other customers, it is 7 days. All returns will be only be accepted when accompanied with a copy of our invoice(s).

Business Horizons, makes no warranties of any kind concerning the fitness of its materials to meet any educational, regulatory or legal requirements. The responsibility for meeting practical and legal requirements rests solely with the consumer.

Business Horizons, does not, and does not claim to, have control over the content or advertising practices contained in the books, or electronic materials that are not created by Business Horizons. Business Horizons, does not necessarily endorse or condone the content or advertising practices of other companies.

EMERGING ECONOMIES

Emerging Economies are now being offered reduced and economical pricing for all our books and the prices are adjusted automatically on selection of your country of shipping. They are grouped as per World Bank’s country classifications of Tier 2 and 3. List of Emerging Economies is provided here for reference.

Payment Terms

Payment must accompany your order. Business Horizons, accepts payments by VISA, Amex and MasterCard. We also accept payment by check, or wire transfer to our bank account.
For orders within India, we also accept payment by NEFT/RTGS transfer to our bank account. In this case please contact us for details and/or Proforma Invoice.

Ordering Information

To improve accuracy and to speed order processing, Business Horizons does not accept phone orders. Please send all orders via our on-line order system (http://www.businesshorizons.com) or by email, or regular postal mail.
Booksellers and Academic Institutions, University, College and Public Libraries may settle the trade / discount terms before placing the orders.

PRIVACY POLICY:

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.
You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
